In today's suspension market, almost everything is made the same. No one brand of motorcycle has a better suspension kit. I go to race tracks (street and dirt) tuning motorcycle shocks for the riders. The key to a better suspension, on a motorcycle, is all dependent on the rider. There's a shim stack inside all shocks. That shim stack can be reassembled in such a way to fit the rider. DO NOT ATTEMPT UNLESS TRAINED. I have seen many riders adjust their own stacks and wind up in the hospital because of it. My advice is to buy the motorcycle that best fits your needs and then take it to a suspention pro shop. The people at these type of shops can reset your shocks to best suit your personal needs, such as weight, riding conditions and rider ability.

Suspension on a bike is subjective and relates to you, your style of riding and ability.

Essentially the stock standard suspension that comes with most bikes are designed for that bike and generally implied that ine size fits alll with some element of adjustment.

You can generally make any street bike ride as hard or soft as you want.

If you are looking for an edge then there are plenty of good aftermarket systems , gas and spring that offer a little more.

Unless you plan to go racing and you are Troy Corser the standard system of any bike should be flexible enough to adjust to your tastes.

Aprilia Tuono, the base model not the factory. The factory is a little harsh and jittery on the street.

It depends on the model, and what you plan to do with it. Most modern bikes have great suspensions, although I would avoid Harleys.
