My baby had 2 teeth surface this week (at 4 months) and today is the worst day yet. When will she start to feel better and how long before the next teeth start coming in?

By the time you see the tooth, the pain and fussiness associated *with that tooth* is pretty much over. But, as another poster said, teeth tend to come in in 2s and 4s. So if the tooth has come in and baby is still fussy, look for another tooth soon.

It totally depends on the baby. She might be getting more, but you don't know it yet. But if she isn't getting more, it is about one week after they cut the gum that the baby feels better. And it totally depends on the baby on when the next teeth come it. Could be next month or not till she's one.

*lol* The next teeth are probably coming in now! In my experience they come in four at a time!

However the real answer is no one can tell you all babies are different.

Also, don't be alarmed if your baby runs a fever while cutting teeth. Mine did, and for the pain and the fever, tylenol works just fine. Just don't overdo it.

They are on their way in now, that's why she's still fussy! Once they break through, it shouldn't be a problem any more!
