Ringo. He's so cute and he was the one everybody felt sorry for. He also never bothered everyone or threw himself around like John or Paul. George is nice too.

John. There's a reason why it was always Lennon-McCartney and not the other way around.. and why the sniveling Paul (decades after Lennon's death!) tried to reverse the song credits to McCartney-Lennon, and test John's widow's resolve by a lawsuit! (that was very low). If not for Lennon, who was a far better leader, guitarist, rocker, intellect and rock historian (by respect to prior musicians -- by the way, what has PAUL done with Bowie, Jagger, Dylan and 100s of his contemporaries? nothing. Harrison was in the Traveling Wilburys. John was with Clapton & Rolling Stones, and frequently jammed right up until 1981.) - we would not have had 75% of the greatest of Beatles songs, plus on his own "Imagine", "Instant Karma", "War is Over (if you want it)". While Paul was capable by way of collaborating with John... is there ANY doubt that the new-music John would have made from 1987 to 2007 (to pick the last 20 years) would have beat Paul's (can we EVEN name one???) -- by 1,000s of times for sales and impact? People rip John for Yoko -- but look at Paul's taste in women 25-yrs after John's death (a 1-legged broad that's on Dancing With the Stars?). No slight to Ringo or George (who was amazing), but it's John hands-down. And PS -- while George Harrison lay dying in a Staten Island, NY hospital, Paul McCartney never once visited him... nor, mentioned him during Paul's appearances at Madison Sq. Garden after 9/11 (with that patronizing, off-key & forgettable "Freedom" song). That was terrible for him to do, and spoke volumes.

John. A thousand Paul McCartneys sitting at a thousand computers for a thousand years could not have written "In My Life".

John (HANDS DOWN) aside from their music...Easily John's wit, humor, and overall demeanor became the image for which gave The Beatles, as a whole, their identity and reputation. This goes for some of the members that were less charismatic.
