Why can't they just let America be America instead of trying to make it Euro?

They are mad because they have no ideas of their own that Americans like. Because of that, they have to continually paint republicans with mud in order to make themselves look better to the public. They are anxious to get as much of that painting in as they can because elections are coming up in a couple of years. They can't win on their ideas and, therefore, they have to make their opponents worse than themselves. Its like telling Americans, "We are incompetent but they are corrupt... so elect us."

Democrats AND Republicans...Liberals AND Conservatives.
I think that most liberals (democrats) are angry mainly about the President and his administration. They have taken things personal, which is fine.
I think that most conservatives are angry that the government is STILL growing, spending is STILL increasing and illegals are STILL crossing our borders.
Both sides see the other side as a threat to what they envision as their quality of life.
I get angry at people expressing their anger here (yep, I've done it also).
Very little is done to discuss issues in an open forum. Stating a neutral question that invites comment from either side (for or against) with reasons and facts in support of their positions.
This isn't then really a forum where questions can be answered. It is a place to vent frustrations for both sides.
Maybe if both sides could take a deep breath and start addressing issues, we might find that we are more in agreement than we thought.
And just maybe, we might be able to face the real danger today which I feel is the media/political fear mongering machine perpetrated by the political class in America.
Sounds corny, but give it some thought. Liberals are not my enemy. It is those that promote fear in our society for monetary or political gain.
Think about it.

I liken Democrats in power to the idiot being in control of the village. Democrats are angry because they are fighting a mental war and they are "unarmed". I have no idea why they want to make America Euro, because I doubt that any of them have been to Europe.
