I had heard from a friend that the secret behind "Victoria's Secret " is that "Victoria" is actually a man. Can anyone tell me if this is true? I'm trying to convince my brother and he won't believe me.

Victoria's Secret was started by a man named Roy Raymond, who felt embarrassed trying to purchase lingerie for his wife. He then sold the company to The Limited after 5 years.
Just what IS Victoria's Secret? Ironically, the sexy lingerie company bought by Leslie Wexner, owner of The Limited clothing chain in 1982, was named after prudish Queen Victoria.

That's funny you should say that...
I walked by a display at the Mall of America last summer and when I walked by one of the manequins in the window display there, I called my mom over to check out the observation I had made. It appeared that under that sexy g-string, the model had quite a "bulge" underneath the front of the panties. My mom noticed it right away too and we had a good laugh about how we finally figured out Victoria's "Secret".

I don't think so. Victoria sounds like a girls name. Plus, I don't think a guy would open a bra/underwear store. Unless he is gay or a perv. But you might call the store and ask for more info.
