If the West was encouraged by the mainstream media (TV, radio & newspapers, etc) to give more money to charity regularly, with lots of informed media of all the people dying needlessly in the world (which can be changed with aid & participation). I mean each month/week/day, etc, then would there be an improvement to the living conditions of people living in the deepest of poverty?

Would the world be transformed to a place free from poverty & kids dying of starvation and curable diseases?

No. Charity is an act that comes from within, not from the outside. If it was touted on TV regularly, it would quickly become background noise and people would just ignore it.
