green eyeshadow for st. patricks day?

i'm going out for st. pattys day and i'm wearing a light green shirt and some skinny jeans, i want to wear green eyeshadow, I have the almay eyeshadow trio, you know the one for the specific eye colors? I have the one made for green eyes...well it has a mint green, plum, and dark green, how do i apply them and still look nice, with the dark green being most noticable? how should i apply it,like what color where? and what colors should i use with the green, i have other colors that might look better

If you want the dark green to show up best, I suggest using the light green all over your eyes (from lash line to brow line) then putting dark green in the crease and as you go out towards the outer corner, smudge the dark green up and out from the crease onto your upper area (don't go all the way up to the brow line though!). I avoided using the plum here since st patty's day = green, green, green!

Here is what I am doing- Pale skin-toned shadow all over from lash line to brow bone, followed by a goldish shimmery hue on the lid (gold will look more St. Patty's appropriate than plum). Use a darker green in the lash line and smudge into the gold at the corners so it blends nicely. Follow with a dark green liner and a good coat of lengethening mascara (metallic liquid if you can work with liquid liner). A light caramel/gold gloss will offset the intense eyes and complete the look. If you are looking to go very festive, dab some glitter on the top of both cheekbones just under the outer right corner of the eyes. False eyelashes can also be used... make sure you trim/ feather the ends for a more natural look! Have fun!

thank was little confusing but what you really want to do is cover the lid with a lighter color, like a soft brown or light green(if you want a lot of green) then you want to apply the darker green in the crease of the eye. blend well curl lashes use mascara!! that will help open the eye and the dark green will be noticeable in the crease.

do a smoky eye using the dark green shadow as a smugy eye liner then have the other green more on the crease of the eye. It's St.Pattie's Day so being over the top and festive is okay, just try not to cover your whole eye with green. look at the like below for an idea.

I would go w. the lighter green color on the lower lid and seriously.. its cheesy but cheap and fabulous but Wet N' Wild makes a metallic-ish green liquid liner. Throw on some fake lashes and maybe like a little green shimmery loose shadow over the almay stuff.

Well it depends what look your going for I would go for the fresh and pretty look. I would first put the light green on the top crease, then put the dark green just above the lashes, and if you would like add the Violet or light blue, or maybe a light peach or something in, and blend. I'm sure it'll look great.
