Rillifan!! I am shocked!!
La "fête des Mères" (Mother's Day) in France is June 3rd this year.
Check your french calendar! :)
(This is probably because "Pentecôte" is the last Sunday of May this year).
Mother's Day in Switzerland has been celebrated since 1917. It falls on the second Sunday of May.

Houlà là! Rillifan, you changed your answer. No fair!!!!

It usually is on the last Sunday of May but this year it's on the first Sunday of June, Father's day is 2 weeks later.
No idea about Switzerland though.

In France the Fête des Mères, inaugurated by Napoleon, is the last Sunday in May.

EDIT: I'm wrong...it is June 3 this year. That's what I get for answering questions from memory and not looking it up.

Le dernier dimanche de mai, SAUF si celui si est le dimanche de Pentecôte. Dans ce cas assez exceptionnel, la Fête des mères est reportée au premier dimanche de juin.
