Which teams in the NBA figure to be the best a couple seasons from now (assuming they don't make a bonehead trade, or allow a key player to leave through free agency)? In otherwards, which team has the most young talent, and could be a title contender for years to come?

Some of the top player on teams like San Antonio (Duncan), Phoenix (Nash), Miami (Shaq, Mourning, Payton), Detroit (Wallace, Weber), etc...will definitely be past there prime in another couple years.

In my opinion, some possible candidates, include: Dallas, Utah, Chicago, Cleveland, and possibly Houston and Orlando, if the Rockets and Magic can surround Dwight Howard, and Yao MIng, with enough supporting talent, since there are so few good centers in the league. Perhaps Greg Oden could make a difference, if he happens to get drafted by a team that already has some nice pieces in place.

Your thoughts??

Interesting, a lot of support out there for Toronto. I don't know, I just don't see them being a title contender (barring a major acquisition). I think Bosh is a terrific player, but I'm not sold on there other players, or the coaching staff.

Toronto, good core a young talent.
Chicago, starting next season will be tough.
Utah, another good group barring injury.
Houston and Orlando could be very good, but have players that never have lived up to their potential.
Maybe Atlanta and Charlotte, alot of talent with nothing to show.

I think that the Charlotte Bobcats could have a pretty good team, with Matt Caroll, Raymond Felton, Sean May, Adam Morrison, Emeka Okafor, Gerald Wallace, and couple of upcoming draft picks.

The Chicago Bulls and Clevend Cavaliers will also have good years coming up.

The Toronto Raptors will also have a great team, maybe enough to get a ring.

bulls and raptors. each player on those teams has potential to be an MVP in the finals.

My thoughts? No one really cares. There are more important things to think about than freakin' basketball -- like sailing, or fencing, or reading, or spending time with grandkids.
