when i go up to hit the ball, i get a little shy and don't step into the ball when i hit it and i only move my arms and my arms stop in the middle of the swing. please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i need your expert advice!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

try to find a tee or just some object that you can swing at that isnt moving, try to step into the object when swinging at it and be sure to keep your balance, be sure to swing completely through, dont worry about how hard your swing is or your point of contact on the object until you are stepping into the ball and following through
also, have some pitch something to you that is smaller than a softball, like a baseball or tennis ball and try hitting that, it will help your eyes adjust quicker and you will eventually be able to develop a better batters eye and you will be able to judge where the ball is going a whole lot quicker

OK....dont worry all you need to do is just consentrate on the ball and your angle of the swing and youll do fine just make sure your grip on the bat is comfortable for ya and just keep visual contact on the ball untill it hits your bat.........good luck

eye on the ball and take a full swing at it like u are hitting your worst enemy

The main thing is keeping your eyes on the ball.
Do not let ANYTHING interfere with your consentration! You can govern your swing (fast or slow) by pulling (chaulking) up on your bat.
