My kid watched the goosebumps movies from about 8 - 11. She hasn't seemed to watch them lately. She's 12 and we are just starting to allow her to watch some PG 13.

I've had her young friends tell me that they watch R rated movies - but when I ask their parents - they say it's not true. Kids very often LIE about what they are watching or are allowed to watch.

If you're a kid - you'll learn as you grow up the NOTHING is "babyish" - if it feels right to you. Don't let the peer pressure get to you.

Also - if somebody thinks goosebumps is "babyish" and you need some different scary movies that are rated PG - I can point you toward them if you e-mail.

Goosebumps on your skin or goosebumps the show based on the books?

For either one, no. I would still watch "Are You Afreid of the Dark". They used to show that on Snick when i was little (Saturday Nite Nick)

No, not at all.
I still love watching all the different ones. There is one that is actually my favorite and I cannot think of the name of it. It is about these kids that are at school and the cafeteria lady has these bug eyes. I wish I could find it. I have looked on ebay and everywhere and can't find it!!

Nah, not really because sometimes older people are fraid to watch it so if you are younger and watching it then that makes you the older person, so no , it doesn't.

That was one of my favorite shows when I was a kid! I don't think it really matters if you watch kid shows when you're older, just so long as you don't spend your life doing it.

I don't think so. If you want to watch it then you should. It's your prerogative.

It really can be quite scary, no matter what age you are. =)
