I'm 32wks pregnant. When my partner gets me sexually aroused (mainly by stimulating my nipples) I get menstrual-like cramps. What's this about? That's the only time I ever feel any cramping. I don't feel braxton-hicks or anything...it's just this slight cramping when he gets me horny.

lol. One of the best ways to progress labor is to stimulate your nipples. It causes your body to release oxytocin which is the hormone responsible for labor, it causes your uterus to contract.
This is why breast feeding helps new moms shrink back to their prepregnancy size so much faster.
This hormone is also released when you climax, which is why sex is also helpful for progressing your late term pregnancy. And the hormones in semen also causes contractions.
Generally none of these (save nipple stimulation), causes labor to actually start and result in birth. You have to stimulate your nipples for long periods of time, usually about 20 minues or more, and repeatedly, to move labor along. So having that evening trist isnt going to land you in the hospital with preterm labor. Just dont lay around and mess with your boobs for hours on end.

Nipple stimulation is a way to put yourself into labor. It release a chemical in to the brain that triggers contractions for some women. I would not be letting him do that any more because you are quite early to be going into labor. Sometime having an orgasm will do this too. Just abstain from the nipples as long as it make you have cramps/contractions.

Something to do with orgasms and associated feelings, causes uterus to contract. What you are feeling are braxton hicks and nearer the time these stimulations may help trigger labour. Perfectly natural and nothing to worry about.

Your uterus is contracting..nipple stimulation and sex has been known to help bring on labor and cause contractions..At this stage u wont go into labor early so dont be alarmed....U can continue enjoying sex and everything u 2 do...good luck!

Messing around with your nipples during the last several weeks of pregnancy can cause contractions! Tell him to wait on messing with your nipples for about 5 more weeks!

I don't know why it is, but it is normal. As long as it's not too painful, slight cramping is fine. Orgasm also brings on contractions. Again, I don't know why, but that's what happens.

nipple stimulation is supposed to be directly linked to uterine contractions. thats what i read, i haven't experienced it myself
