Yes, I had 2 baby bunnies that I named Tia and Snip. They were tiny. My brother mowed over their nest by accident and killed a bunch of them. There mom abondoned them so I took care of them. It really stinks having to wake up every 2 hours to feed them in the middle of the night. When they got older, I let them go in a field behind my house.

we had 2 wild rabbits that we rescued, a fox had mum and the other babies. they were about 2 weeks old when we found them. Rang the vet for advice and hand raised them. They were great pets Barcadi and breezer they were called.
Eventally they burrored out there massive run and lived loose in the garden. It was great they had the best of both worlds, we kept them fat, safe and happy and they had the option to come and go when they pleased as we lived on a farm.
(Alough I have to say I dont agree with wild animals being kept as pets, unless they have been already bred in captivity so they no no diffrent, and couldnt survive on there own.)

I raised 3 wild European starlings, before losing one 4 months later (unknown reasons). They were brought to me after being found in a piece of machinery that was hauled over 300 miles away from mom. Because they were not native to North America it was illegal to set them free once grown. They lived with me for 2 years before, one minim I got up to find both dead. I looked like they got into a fight that night and both lost. I had to do some fast research on how to feed 5 day old starlings. I'll do it again if I had to, but now I know how messy they are. They sling food everywhere when they eat. I moved a shelving unit and found slung food behind it 2 years later. They got it on my windows, walls, ceiling, floors furniture just everywhere.
I raised a wild rabbit years ago for over a year until I moved and couldn't take him, we let him go in my grandmother's yard where he was used to being.
We had a baby opossum in our house for 3 days, uninvited however, but he didn't bother any other animal.

I had a baby fox for a while, but that was because I rescued it. But the people who make all the laws for wild animals made me let it go. I have had baby bunnies that were rescued. And I've had snakes and frogs and a salamander. :) But most of those were from when I was a kid. Oh and I had a mole or something for a few hours, but I guess it wasn't really a pet :)

We had a pet crow when i was 11. It was very clever but mean sometimes and very, very loud. We kept if for almost a year and then let if go. He, Blackie, (very original name I know) hung around for a few weeks and then was gone.
edit - I just asked my sister about the crow - she's much older and remembers more of the circumstances around us having him - one of our dogs injured him and my mum nursed him back to health. We only had him about 5 months she thought although she agrees he stayed around the garden for awhile after being turned loose.

lol i don't know how wild he would be considered, but i had a squirrel for a while. A nest blew out of a tree in my yard and he was the only survivor but he was badly hurt, so I tried to nurse him back to health.

well I don't know what we would call the wild rabbit in our yard but he lives in our yard and we call him ''Bunny" we do not feed him but it's still cold where we are and he has a nice little place to sleep in our yard under our oak tree. Bunny has plenty of things to eat out there in the wild, all we did was throw a whole bunch of dead branches in a BIG pile for him to sleep under, that was all we did.

I owned a boobook owl. It was from a park near my house and every day I noticed it being pecked by crows, magpies, etc. One day it flopped down to my back yard and I looked after it. Then I released it back into the park and I never saw it again...

yes I have. it kept breaking into my home. after the 3rd or 4th time it broke back into to my home I just kept it as a pet instead of throwing it out yet again. I kept it and pampered it until it died.
PS. the 2nd time it broke in, I woke up in the morning to find it on my pillow next to my head just looking at me. that was a bit scary but I got over it. It was a European starling. very pretty. shiny & iredesent with polka dots. I had pictures on my computer of it but a virus wiped out all my pics a long time ago.
here is a pic on the web of what they look like if your interested.

It is illegal in most states/countries to keep a wild animal as a pet. This is for saftey reasons, both for the humans and the animal.
