Most often it's done or not done at birth, according to local custom or religious practice, so it's not a choice in those cases. In some tribal societies, it's a rite of passage into manhood at about the onset of puberty or before.

Since I was circumcised at birth, I don't know anything about not being circumcised or what a foreskin feels like. I've only seen one "live" foreskin in my life and didn't have much of an opportunity to "experiment" with it. I hear they feel good if you have one. But I've also heard from guys who were happy to have theirs removed. Most people seem to be happy the way they happen to be, and that's how I feel, too.

Male babies were cut because of the ridiculous notion that a foreskin is dirty. The person making this decision was usually the mother-a woman. I wish that I had not be cut; I know that an unbutchered penis has far more sensitivity that a butchered one. I also like the way they look and feel.

Also, while it is true that a study in Africa showed that men with a foreskin are more likely to get HIV, I think that in this day and age men shouldn't be messing around without a condom. Obviously, the men in the study did not use a condom.

The truth is that a foreskin is natural! Do you pull out your fingernails because your fingers would be cleaner without them? Do we force women to get breast implants because we think it would look better? The same ignorant, barbaric reasons used to promote male circumcision are the same ones used to defend the genital mutilation of women in Africa. Circumcision is barbaric and mutilation.

circumcision was acovenant between g-d and man to show that he accepted the covenant, but now a days it has become obvious that for cleanliness and better health it is done. although my bf is not circumcised and he is sexy and hot and takes care of himself
