I see her cry for stupid reasons. I mean she's the judge and judges shouldn't be emotional like that. Imaging going to the court and judges crying. It's their job to be impartial at all times. So I think she's a mess and she really should get fired.

On a serious note, she's doing more harm than good to the contestants. Her advice is always the same, "you look beautiful...you sound great..." you know, stuff anybody's granny would say after hearing them sing. You have to be able to take criticism in order to improve. If no one tells you about your flaws, they don't exist in your mind, right? That doesn't help the performers who may actually have no idea what they are doing wrong, and will never know because they gravitate to Paula's pacifying.

Yeah, Paula Abdul does seem like she's not "all there" on American Idol at times. She uses a lot of hand movements for no real particular reason and it drives me nuts. Sometimes I can't help but laugh at her because I wonder if she really knows what she's doing or saying on the show half the time.

I think she's a mess but I think she's a controlled mess. Meaning I think she's acting for the camera. She's getting publicity by making her own "scandal".

confident, she is. i'm hoping the prepare might nevertheless be great with out her. The judges might desire to step up their interest now because of the fact with Paula's long gone they might desire to win back the visitors. Now, Simon has no person to backs him up and no person for him to play with.
