Sea monkeys are tiny brine shrimp that hatch out of eggs. They do actually grow. They start out as just a speck, but they start to grow larger after a few days. After awhile you can actually make out little eyes on them, and you can see their tails swimming. They're still very, very tiny even when they're full grown (you usually have to hold them up to light to see them really good)... but they're fun and educational to watch.

Sea monkeys are shrimp. We were talking about this in class and out teacher told us that there are certian types of fish and shrimp and other sea creatures that store water in their eggs so that they can be out of water up to one year (or so).
