Hi, I am a 19 young guy from london who is otherwise not submissive in real life and likes to have some power. I have been boxing competitively for 2 years and weightlifting for 3, but even though I've had a few girlfriends I have gotten bored of submissive women. When I think or see a dominant woman i find that im curiously interested and aroused. The only thing is, I feel it would be difficult to relinquish some of the power I have because of my physical presense and masculine personality. I really want to explore this side of me, but I am a bit worried about becoming wimpish, and that if she were to attempt to lock-horns with me I would still attempt to keep some pride and banter back. I don't know what to do, at the same time i find a very dominant woman a fantasy of mine but I believe these women are looking for submissive types and im not traditionally submissive. How can I go about experiencing this side of me without my own stubborn male pride getting in the way?

Your fantasy is not that uncommon. And being submissive to a woman dos not negate your being a man or make you effeminate. Most submissive men start out with a visit to a Pro-Domme where they can explore their desires safely w/o being in a real D/s relationship. Some continue this way while leading completely "vanilla" lives, including a marriage (and keep their kink private). Others find their desires and needs will require them to find a real D/s relationship and a lifestyle Domme to worship and serve. Only by starting the "journey" can you get your questions answered.
You are pretty lucky to be in London which has a very active "scene" (I'm jealous!) You could try some of the public clubs first and meet others in the lifestyle and observe. Take the first step and approach a lady you think would be willing to play with you. Discuss this with her and see what happens.
As long as the longing continues, AND you can remain truthful in your approaches, keep looking for that one lady who'll make submission sound lkike fun, AND who can deal with you trying to turn tables (which could be fund for her too, there are switches out there.)
Being a good submissive takes more strength than you'd think, and iit is something to be proud of!

It could take some time for you to become submissive.
You could just watch someone else do it.
Femdom is not for everyone.
