I really wish I'd watched this as I would really like to hear the arguement which puts forward that the sun is responsible for rising temperartures and not of our own doing. Do you know if Channel 4 plan to repeat it or if there is anywhere I can watch it on the net?

It will be repeated for the next hundred years as we sit through the ice age.

I don't know about that show in particular, but this has been a hot topic for a while now in science groups. If you type 'sun global warming' into google, it pulls up tons of articles on this.

The idea was first put forth by a group of Russian scientists to the UN a while ago, but the global warming caused by humans groups tried to shut them up.

But with all the evidence of warming on Mars and other planets coming out now, people are finally paying attention to this theory.

I didn't watch it but keep an eye out on More 4 - it was repeated the other night. I have always thought that the global warming theory is just an excuse for the government to take more and more taxes off us - I will continue to drive my car, take planes and not recycle - I just don't fall for it all. Problem is, being all green and ethical is the latest trend and it's almost as bad as saying your are racist to admit you don't put your cardboad out .............

If you contact Channel 4 - either by telephone or Internet, they are very helpful and approachable folks, they will probably be able to tell you.

I made enquiries about a programme, and they actually sent me a (video) copy of it !!!

Unfortunately 'swindle' might be appropriate.
Seems the guy who made this documentary has a bit of a history of dodgy docos.

I say we tackle global warming and decide who's to blame when (and if) we save the planet.
