Why not go for the jugular?
1. Definitions are not objective facts
1.1 Objective facts depend for their truth on the state of affairs in the world
1.2 Definitions are rules that depend upon what we choose to follow
2. This course is bollocks
2.1 This course treats definitions as positive facts
2.2 Definitions are normative rules
