She was - and still is - bisexual
Her philosophy is "You fall in love with a person, not a sex". Andd judging by her list of lovers, it helps if the person is filthy rich too.

IIRC, I ~think~ that Anne has been quoted as saying that she was drawn to Ellen because 'she was everything [her] father wasn't." Anne had an abusive childhood and a severe mental illness, so I think that she was just looking for love where she could find it. I suspect that she has been straight all along and was therefor never really comfortable in her relationship with DeGeneres, but I guess that Heche could still be bi.

It is true that she was with Ellen Degeneres for a few years and said she was gay. She later left and married. You know it is the girls perogative to change her mind. That's the way it is, so deal with it.

Yes, some allegedly believe her sexuality to be career optimizing. She is alleged to have benefited from a good choice of sleeping partners and gender may have been less of an issue than career. the blonde lady in the Steve Martin film Bowfinger is allegedly based on her.

She was Ellen's girlfriend for quite some time. Now she is married about to divorce and now seeing her 'Men In Trees' co-star. I don't think she was really Gay maybe confused.

indeed it's true. she and Ellen DeGeneres was a couple a few years back ...a very popular couple. but all of a sudden (which i don't know why) she left Ellen and found a man, went strictly dickly and had a child.

It is not possible. Perhaps Anne wants to think that she "was" gay, but in my opinion, she was testing the waters and decided on boys. Being gay is not something you can turn on or off like a faucet.

yes, she was with Ellen DeGeneres for a long time. Now shes with a guy. i believe shes gone back and forth about twice. But, not sure.
