Huck Finn's father believes in a stern god

the river represents how happiness flows from place to place continuously and is sometimes interrupted by small obstacles that can seem too hard to get over sometimes. but all the water always makes it.

the book of hyms and stories passed on generation by generation

at first one would think that, but if progressed into deeper thought, it was the opposite. the hogs were actually in fear of man as an opposite force, and took security in the unique scheduled religious practices.

yes he did, which is what one would come to believe after deeper thought. however at first it may seem as if Tom was rebelling against the Establishment and even thinking about partnering with Huck in the plot itself.

it was a great book! im glad you were able to read it for school and hope you enjoyed its literary elements as well as shallow entertainment.

After a lot of research I think I got all of your answers, or at least .99 % of them. Merciful God=Clemens,Stern God=Miss Watson, river represents constant flowing, never sitting still. lump of lead,Sarah Mary Williams. Grangerford's book=emmeline's graveyard poetry. Small pox story=Huck tells the slave catchers that people on the raft have small pox Ambuscade = Camp,Huck and Tom would lay in ambuscade and the lot of them. Tom escape=Tom's opporturnity to call upon several prison stories he had read. They would use a rope ,knife and things Tom read about in books. hogs= laying on the puncheon floor in sumertime. I would say powerlessness of religion.Rescue= yes,He shocked Huck at his willingness to aid the rescue. ( I am quite sure these are right). Good luck. If you don't understand them, email me.

Seriously, this is a really entertaining book. Why don't you read it? There are some books you may want to get the cliff's notes on, but this isn't one of them.
