Look, a lot of us do not like the "special effects" he did when he upgraded them. (Greedo drawing first. What a load of crap!)

If the special effects now in place are not of your liking, then you obviously are not using your imagination. Use your illusions! :-) Those special effects were, for the most part, groundbreaking! That kinda magic can't be duplicated or improved upon, imho. Even the deadpan way the actors give their lines couldn't be delivered any better by other actors. There's a reason movies like 'The Wizard of Oz', 'The Sound Of Music', etc... have not been remade. Because what possibly could be done to out-better the originals? Some movies that have been redone should have been left alone or were just done by someone else percievable perception, whilst the original 'magical' perception just gets lost in the mix (witness: 'The Fog' ;-)
There is only one Star Wars Saga. And that's all there should be.

He did in 1997 with the Special Edition trilogy. You've never seen? All of the special effects were redone, new characters were added in, and a new scene with Jabba the Hutt and Han Solo was added into A New Hope.

Nope, he's often said that he's done with Star Wars and has even cancelled the initial idea of making the trilogy following the Return of the Jedi (Star Wars was to be a trilogy of trilogies...9 parts)

It's not always the best thing to keep redoing older movies just because you have newer technology. What some may consider improvements, many would consider ruining a good movie.

i dont think so. i like it the way it is, but i guess it would be interesting to see what they could do with it after all the improvements in special effects.

I don't think so. He might release the old films again, with the special effects redone if that's what you mean, but remakes, no way.

Unless he hires the same "claymation" special effects people we aren't buying.
