Lex has a secret about Lana's baby and Daddy Lionel knows what it is. I think Lex married Lana because he knows it's Clarks baby and he wants to find out the truth about Clarks abilities. What better way then to found out through his child.

exactly, that way the child will show "special" abilities if its clarks. cause we all know lex dont have any. great show!!

Lex has always had suspicions about Clark since their initial encounter on the bridge. If you'll remember last season when Chloe's ex friend wigged out and set off the Missile. Clark had lost His powers, this was shortly after He saved Lana and abandoned Jor-Els training in the Fortress.
Clark was shot and ended up in the Hospital. His Doctor at that time got a blood sample from Him.
We know that Lex and Lionel are heavily involved in Meteor Freak experimentation within the secret 33.1 Lab Project.
I suspect that Lex got ahold of Clarks DNA sample from the Doctor and implanted Lana in an attempt to recreate what He has suspected all along, that Clark, and therefore His offspring have something to hide.
There is the possibility though, due to Clarks powers being suppressed that His DNA at the time remains powerless and Lana gives birth to a normal child.

That is exactly what my dad said about a month ago. He said he thought it was Clark's baby. Somehow Lex inplanted Lana. I haven't watched last nights episode yet (I taped it) but maybe it will have some answers. I wouldn't doubt that Lex would stoop that low, he is all about himself. He lies to Lana all the time. Lana is a cry baby I know but all she wants is someone to love her and be completely honest with her...is that so bad?

I think it's Lex's baby. However, Lex was possessed and had all these strange powers during the time. So perhaps, its not a human baby, it's not Lex's or Clark's. Perhaps Lex was just a means to an end for the thing that possessed him. Hmm...I wonder.

No nothing to do with clark...Lex knows about Lana's talents from the first accident..she has skills too...lex loves to make experiments out of people and I think he is doing it to lana too. His only goal is power...super son to over power clark

There is no baby. it's ploy for ll to marry lana. Lex's father forces her to marry, after she found out and chose clark. All in last night's show. Not making it up.

I didn't even get to see that episode last night, but I bet that is a possibility, Lex is so obsessed I bet he would go that far, and of course, through the baby are the answers.
