I didn't catch the whole commercial, but basically it's these two blondes selling something then at the end they say "Too bad brunettes. Well, at least your moms think you're pretty!" Then they both burst out laughing. As a brunette I find that commercial EXTREMELY offensive. Am I just overreacting? Like the only ones who think brunettes are pretty are our moms? And no, I'm not jealous, I'd never trade in my shiny black hair for blonde.

I am a 59 yr. old natural blonde....I have heard all the blonde jokes, references to being dumb, stupid airhead. I even had 5 sheets of blonde jokes sent to me....Am I angry? No, I just tell them all that the reason they have to tell dumb blonde jokes is cause RED-HEADS would never understand them..

Yep I know what you mean. Nothing against people who dye their hair, but I never have cause I think all hair color is nice!! Just be happy with what you were born with, and when I see a brunette that keeps their natural color and does not want to be a blond I love it! Just never understood this dying stuff!

Blondes tend to get a bad deal, with all the studidity jokes. Ond commercial slates brunettes and you're stressing out? I'm brunette male, and think you need to chill.

at first i found it offensive (i'm brunette, but i dye my hair auburn) but then i thought of all the blond jokes that i tell and the sterotypes that go along with having light hair. i do think it took it too far because brunettes never go on television and badmouth blonds, but the blonds do.
(FYI: commercial was about a shampoo or other hairproduct designed specifically for blond hair)

Yeah I know what commercial you're talking about. It was for some hair product for both blonde's and brunettes.

That is a shampoo commercial. They have one aimed at blondes too. They say something like, Sorry blondes, I guess you'll have to wear your skirts shorter now.

ive seen lots of commercials making fun of blondes...its no biggie...brunettes are very frequently beautiful as well
