I used to be kind of friends with this one girl I know. We were pretty close for about a week and she used to invite me to places and we'd have a lot of fun. But recently she started acting really snide and rude to me, and she stopped inviting me to places. I'm on my school's dance team, and EVERYONE else on the team loves her cause she's always sweet to them. I don't know what happened, but I don't want to confront her to start an unneccessary drama since I only have 2 months of school left. I have another friend in college, and she's really good friends with that girl, and recently she stopped talking to me. I don't know what's going on! What should I do?

I would come out and ask her. You don't have to get confrontational or anything with her, and you can ask the other one too =) Just mention something like "I've noticed we haven't done a lot together, anything up'? That way, you are putting the ball in her court and making her step up to the plate. You're calling her out on her actions. Most people don't do it or expect it =) In this case, you have a right to know. If she can't or doesn't give you a legitimate answer, be done and move on; same with the other one. I'm in that situation now with a friend whom was pretty nasty to me the toher night; so I called her on it. She hasn't responded yet; we've been friends for eleven years now, we'll see =) Best wishes!

If a person can stop cold and not talk to you, they were never really your friend in the first place. A real friend would bring whatever problems that they may have with you to you.......

There's always a reason. It's best to confront it now in a polite way then let it fester and spread. It's already spreading.

why not just ask the friend who's in college what's
up & what did I do to make you both act this way

sometimes we don't realize how things we say or do can affect others

good luck
