No. I have to many other important things to deal with than worry about how other people dress. The white people that I am friends with don't talk about "black" people at all. Except when dealing with the minsets of different cultures. I don't think we are dealing with a true skin issue. It is culture. I have a niece who can't even get a sun tan but has choosen to live in the "black" culture.
Myself,I don't believe I am very conscience of skin color, or I wasn't until I started to work in prison ministry. There I discovered how different the thought processes and world views were between our cultures. It has been a challenge to see things from a different perspective.

First of all, I think its crazy to classify people as "dressing white" or "dressing black" but in reality people really say those things. As for white people who sit around and talk about how black people dress... I think thats a little silly, honestly. I mean, it can go both ways, do black people sit around and say, "hey look at that whitey with the rocawear on" its just all a little childish if you ask me. People should just dress how they wanna dress, stop being so insecure, and stop worrying about what other people say.

I personally think people have copied each other for centuries. That's the way fads get started. I don't believe it applies to anyone's race, gender, religion or sexual preference. It's just what we do. It's also what makes money for designers and manufacturers. We are a gullible people and many of us tend to follow the trend instead of just being ourselves. You probably wouldn't like the way I dress. But that's OK. You do your thing and I'll do mine. Wouldn't the world be so much better if everyone did that?

No, I don't think any different about blacks or whites. I don't sit around and talk about blacks or whites. You need to be able to learn that in heaven everyone will be the same color. I am white, but I think the color then will be darker, because Christ was a Jew.

I've never known a black person that wore like polos and khakis and stuff like that, just a bunch of white guys with the pants down to their knees, really big gaudy jewelry and all that. Whenever I see that I never really think they're trying to be like black people, I just think they're wearing what they like.

i think it's okay to wear whatever you want whatever color you are and ppl shouldn't make fun of you....it's just the "preppy i'm better than everyone else because i wear clothes from hollister/aeropostale/american eagle/abercrombie and fitch/etc, way too short shorts, or w/e and i'm a rich little brat" attitude that i just hate sooooo much..i mean i like american eagle, aeropostale and stuff but honestly i just hate all the ppl who act like that

I have no clue what you said. But as a black woman, I think that our young sistas should stop dressing like they do and get back to what makes us us. Conservative and sharp dressers that live up to our name as the most virtuous of women.
