As it says above, I recently got two new fish, the sign said they were both female, but one became very, very fat! I checked online, and it sort of looks like one of my fish is pregnant. How can I tell if they are both female, or one female and one male?

Look at the little fin by their butt, if it looks like all the other fins, kind of translucent and flexible this is a female fish. If it's a little bit longer and there is a white stiff looking line running down from the belly this is a male.

Nine times out of 10 you've got a pregnant female from the store. They're not always very careful about keeping Males and females separated during shipping.

Good luck with the babies.

Male Guppies are slimmer and more colorful than females. A pregnant female Guppies has a dark spot on the rear part of her abdomen. This spot is called a gravid spot.
A male Guppy has a modified fin called a gonopodium that a female does not have.

Once a female Guppy is pregnant, she can release babies about once a month for up to six months without a male in the aquarium. So your Guppy females may continue to release babies, even if you don't have a male Guppy now.

Baby Guppies are too small to eat Freeze Dried Blood Worms. Feed your baby Guppies fine powered food.

First of all, a female will be much plainer then a male. If it has bright colours, it is most likely male and would have been more expensive.

You can also tell by the anal gland. If the fine on the bottom of the fish is pointy and kind of juts out, it is a male. If it is female, it will be triangular.

Hope this helps.

It is quite possibly the fish was already pregnant when you got her, or sometimes they get a gravid spot and larger when they are ready to mate.

Good luck with your fish
