Are they mounted on the Half Shafts or CV Joints?

Uh, wasnt trying to be a smarta** by it.

Just finished a book that under description said one thing (mounted to half shaft) but the picture they show shows the opposite (mounted to CV joint)...

if you want to get technical, the wheels are mounted to the hub. the rotor is sandwiched between the hub and wheel. the cv joint goes through the hub and holds the bearing together and the half shaft is connected to the cv joint. anything else you'd like to know?

They are mounted on the HUB.The CV joints are splined into the hub.

I was going to give you a smart *** answer until I saw the additional. They are connected to the CV joints.

I was too, but the poster above is right, its the CVs, and maybe next time we build in a little more sense into the bold type agreed?
