Two wrongs don't necessarily make a right. If you are certain that your ouse is cheating on you and you are satisfied to simply even the score, you can. However, it is not going to solve the problem and could cause you more headache then it is worth. Your best bet would be to discuss it with your spouse. Things could turn out better than you anticipate.

My husband thinks that that's the way to handle anything, do unto others as they have done unto you. But I think that 2 wrongs don't make a right and by bringing yourself to their level, you may feel good short term, but in the long run even if you guys can't work it out you'll be the one that gets to leave with a clear conscience. Moving into your next relationship you'll be able to say you've never cheated, and that means a lot

Two wrong don't make a right, why use someone over your mates cheating. I'd boot the cheater's *** out the door like a bat out of hell. It is time to move on! Don't stoop low over your mate's doing because you will not be any better. Be better than that. What goes around comes around, let her go there is better women out there who would love to have a faithfull man.
