I am a RH negative A and I have to have rhogam after a miscarriage, during a pregancy and after birth. It has nothing to do with you getting pregnant or not. It can take as much as a year or more to conceive. Especially after a miscarriage. I suggest using ovulation test, and if it doesnt' happen in the next 4 months, go to your doctor to seek medical intervention. All the rhogam does is keep your blood from mixing with that from the miscarriage, or that from your baby if you are pregnant and getting you and the baby very sick. It has absolutly nothing at all to do with conception. Good luck

I'm Rh- also. I had a shot with my first pregnancy which was to protect future pregnancies. Then with this last pregnancy I miscarried and I got another shot. It is just to keep the baby's blood from mixing with yours and building antibodies against + blood. So it does help keep u from miscarrying again. However, I don't believe this is why u can't get pregnant now. Good Luck.

The Rhogam is just for women having their second pregnancies. The first baby will be fine but others will have problems if the mother didn't have a Rhogam shot. This has nothing todo with you not getting pregnant right away.
