but am i pregnant? About 3weeks ago i took to pregnancy test. One came back sort of positive(the second line was not as dark as the other-1st response) and the second one was negative(ept). any suggestions?

ANY line on an at home pregnancy test is positive as long as it is read within the time limits specified on teh packaging.

There is no such thing as a false positive. You can have a false negative. Sort of positive does not exist. Read the directions carefully. As for preganancy symptoms, many are the same as other conditions do not rely on that to tell if you are preganant or not. Take another test to know for sure. A short period is not a good indicator of preganancy.

Sometimes, you can get a false negetive reading because you are testing to soon and your pregnancy hormone isnt strong enough yet to be detected by a test. Wait a week and retest again.

maybe if you go to hre doctor then it will work!! but take another one 4 sure!!
