Sorry to tell you that there IS no second series as NBC pulled the plug after only 1 series.
Also, no point in asking about "Invasion" or "Blade".
Both also pulled after only the 1 season.
Three damn good shows pulled because of why?
Ratings weren´t high enough so lack of advertising revenue.
Bummer.

Sorry pudding there won't be a new series of Surface.It got cancelled after just one series.The decision was made even before the 1st series finished in the US.Usual story of poor ratings & high production costs.
Lake Bell who played Dr Laura Daughtery has signed a long-term contract with tv series Boston Legal.
