Get a fitting and pick a tux as soon as you want (might want to wait until after your date has bought a dress so you can coordinate a bit). You will not be able to pick up the tux until the day before or the day of. Otherwise, you will be paying for each day you don't wear it.

Early, go now and order it and always pick it up at least two days before to make sure there are no holes in it and that it fits properly. When I went to pick mine up there was a huge hole in the side and what looked like marijuana in the pocket. I had to take it back and get a new one but luckily they got it back the day of prom.

You should get your suit a month ahead of time because you never know what you might need for when it's close to prom night. You really don't wanna feel overwhelmed with getting everything at the last minute. You'll feel at ease trust me.

GO TO MEN'S WEARHOUSE THEY HAVE THE BEST PRICES AND I WOULD DO IT ABOUT 2 TO 3 MONTHS IN ADVANCE BECAUSE THE CLOSER IT GETS TO THE DATE THE FASTER THEY RUN OUT OF STYLES AND SIZES!!! ALSO AT MEN'S WEARHOUSE THEY CAN PICK IT OUT FOR U IF U HAVE NO CLUE WHAT U WANT AND THEY WILL MAKE YOU LOOK GOOD!!!! I GUARANTEE IT!! JUST BRING A $20 DOWN PAYMENT.

I think you should get it a month before im a senior and that is when i done it and nobody yet has rented one.
