Contemporary ballet is a mixture of your standard classical ballet and modern dance. It is a more free-form/style. It is more emotional and has more feeling. It's really about expressing yourself, which you should do in any dance. I believe it is also called neoclassical.

Modern dance is classical ballet breaking out the the strict standard box, much like contemporary, but includes other dances and is not limited to ballet.

If you search "contemporary ballet" or "modern dance" in YouTube, you get some pretty good examples of both. Good luck in finding what you are looking for!

Go to youtube.com and do a search on contemporary dance. A lot of videos came up, some good some bad, but all will show you the feel of the style.
