I heard a few months ago that if you have a cracked or broken windsheild, you could it replaced for free? I forgot who I heard it from, but they got theirs for free because of it....

I maybe buying a car that has a cracked windshield... can anyone give me any info on how to get a free one?

that is with your insurance and you have to pay deductible any way so it is cheaper to just pay for it yourself. glass masters 150.00 bucks not as expiensive as before.

Most insurance policies have a clause for broken windshields to be replaced with no deductible. However, by making a claim against your insurance policy you greatly increase the chance of a premium hike.

glassmasters will replace your windshield for what your insurance company pays them for it, usually you have to pay the $100. deductable but glassmasters will wave that, I would wait a couple of months after you get the car before turning it into your insurance.

follow a dump truck thats overloaded with gravel, or drive past the local golf course that has a hole by the road. complain and they will replace your windsheild.

no such animal...and tell the idiot that told you that that he is an idiot...good luck...if the winshield is broken and you can see it ...what do you think they did to the internal parts??
