Okay, I have this friend who I think is gay, but every time I ask he denies it. Here's what made me think he was gay:
*He watches chick flicks
*He plays the flute
*He prefers to go in a jewelry store to Sports Authority
*He sings 'Fergalicious'
*He changes it to 'Davidlicious'
*He failed kindergarden
*He has his guy friends call him "Superman"
*He doesn't know what WTF stands for
*He doesn't know what viagra is...trust me, he's old enough
~~He does have a girfriend though, and they've been going out for a few months. But the thing is, they never really do anything together, they just say they're together. Is he gay?

Gay men know they are gay, if he says he is not, he is not. What his personal preferences are, when he choses to have sex or not, his artistic talents or lack thereof do not indicate "gayness." Give this guy a break, just because he doesn't match up to "your idea of a man" does not make him desire to have sex with other men.
No offense, but if you have this much time on your hands to catalogue all his interests, talents, and delve this far into his personal life... do yourself a favor and start acting like a friend and less like a critic. He will appreciate the new you.

He might be gay if he dates men and not women. Otherwise he has some attributes that some may consider gay. I can tell you now that there are a lot of super butch gay men that would make the straight guys look a little effeminate. I guess it's best not to deal in stereotypes.

You are probably working too hard to analyze him. If he is yr friend, I would celebrate that friendship. There is no mold for straight or gay... Everyone is everything.
Does it matter to u?
Would u feel better if u put him in a category?

I wouldn't necessarily call him gay. Sounds like he might be a bit more feminine than some guys. That's ok.

I can't see how any things you have said would make you think he is gay. There are many couples who date who don't "do anything". It is possible they choose to keep this aspect of their relationship to themselves.
