Dogs and cats are different because they are a different species. I am not sure what genus the dog is but a cat is in the genus of felis. The species varies on what king of house such as a house cat or a wid cat. Dogs and cats are very different in plenty of ways. I am no expert but I know that info. Please choose me as best answer!

Well, for starters they look, act, react, sound, and respond. Then you never see a cat happily wag its tail; a dog’s reflexes are quick, a cat’s reflexes are incredible; dogs are doers, cats are watchers.
