Dont get me wrong, I watch it every year and I think that it is in a very good cause. But what annoys me is how WE the working class are always the ones who have to put their hands in our pockets and give money we really can't afford. My household has an average income of around 40k a year, whilst most of the CELEBS and rich businesmen and women can earn more than that in a week(sometimes a day!!)

How about we have a "SHAME THE TIGHTEST CELEB" Day? Im sure they do give to charities, but also they recieve tax benefits for doing so. David Beckham, Frank Lampard, John Terry etc are all on about £120,000 p.wk!!!!!
You're not telling me that they can spend all that?? What about Bill Gates?? THE Richest men on the planet and yet here are the celebs BADGERING us again!!??

Havent we done enough?? Isnt it time they put their greedy fat mitts into their never ending silver-lined pockets and gave some of their money for a change??

Tell me What you think guys!!!

Actually, Bill Gates gives HUGE amounts for charity, but he makes a point to do it anonimously. He doesn't brag with it and use it as publicity as other celebs.

My kids are enjoying it and I have bought them noses so that was my contribution.

We are also having a quiz night at work next week and donating the proceeds to comic relief.
That said I'VE had enough of red nose day.

If you can't afford it, don't contribute. I have some charities that I'll contribute to, and all others I politely decline even at the front door. I get sick of the emotional blackmail used.
