Losing your plug has nothing to do with baby dropping....you start losing your plug when you start dialating.

You could lose your mucous plug anytime from 37 weeks or so thru the day of delivery.

My baby has been dropped since I was 33 weeks, and now Im 38 weeks and no mucus plug. I never noticed a mucus plug with my 3rd or 4th baby either. Just with my first one.

i'd be 37 weeks on Monday & i imagine my infant dropped some weeks in the past. I went to my physician the former day & he suggested that the newborn did drop yet i imagine it replaced right into some weeks in the past because i replaced into able to experience her head close to my ribs & now I dont. i have not lost the plug or some thing in spite of the undeniable fact that the physician suggested he thinks i visit bypass previous to later- i'm due the thirtieth. it is also my 1st infant.
