Ho, Hum, if you don't like it wait a minute. After 60 years in this area I'm not surprised.

Our location in the NE corner gets loads of patterns, mostly coming across the country from the Pacific. By the time the weather pattern get to Chicago, the Great Lakes can move the system North, so Boston oftentimes gets the south side. Similarly for the systems coming up from the Gulf of Mexico/Florida. North Carolina's Cape tends to send systems north and east. The Gulf Stream runs less than 100 miles east oif Boston and Cape Cod..
So, couple all that with the cold coming from Hudson's Bay and the warmth from Bermuda toward Great Britain and it's a nightmare for weather predictors.. They EARN their money here.

One day in April, noon-65%, 5PM, Logan airport reports up to 2 hours delay due to snow..

If you don't like the weather, wait a minute.

This isn't unheard of in New England actually, in March. The weather is notoriously unpredictable especially at this time of year. I love the snow though, although it would be nice if it wasn't blowing around so much.

It's spring time in New England...it's not so unusual! I like the fact that even though it was miserable over the weekend, later this week we'll be back up in the 60s again. Wahoo!

You must not be from Boston or you wouldn't be asking this question........just wait one minute and the weather will change. That is an old expression from this area.

New Englad Weather! It's a love-hate relationship. Growing up here, I missed it when I moved, It was awful... the bore of the So Cal weather when I moved there. It's pathetic, you complain when you're here you miss it when you're not!! :)

It's pretty crappy in RI too.
The roads have spots that are colder than others. So, one minute you got traction the next you're on ice.
Saw two cars that went off the road and at low speeds, too.

Just do what I've been doing which is trying to remind myself what a mild winter this was overall (two years of consecutive blizzards) and how much my heating bill would have been if it had been a regular winter.

The weather is crazy coast to coast like this - no ones patterns are normal this year. I find it pretty unsettling.
