Tampon question..need advice.?

i really hate pads so i always use tampons right. ok well when i pee, i end up peeing on the damn tampon string and like i dont wanna have to keep putting a new one in every time i pee (which is alot for some reason). but anyways, does anyone else have this problem? im worried that by letting the string sit in my underwear im gonna get an infection from the pee...gross i know.. but its annoying and worries me.

You are usually going to pee on it, just change it when you are suppose too no longer than 8 hours. You won't get an infection if you pee on it, or there wouldn't be a point in anyone using them. Hope this helps.
