my husband drinks on his days off. we cant go anywere due to this. its Everyday day he has off. then he gets abusive emotionaly sometimes. is this normal?

No, it's not. He needs to be treated for alcoholism and to join AA.

How is this normal when you are asking knowing it's NOT!!!!!!! He is an Alcoholic!! he needs help, if he doesn't accept the help or stop drinking dump his butt because it will only get worse...Good luck

sounds like an Alcoholic who HAS to drink, and mood changes, he needs help and so do you to deal with that.

Sounds like depression, is he a workaholic? you need to talk to a physcologist.
