Okay I'm not an expert on cars but my car does feel kind of sluggish. What might cause that?

It's a 2002 and when I bought it, only had about 9,000 miles. Everything in it was perfect condition.

Suggish response can have many causes: dirty oil, clogged fuel filter, clogged air filter, bad spark plugs/rotor/cap/wires, water in the fuel, transmission fluid low/dirty, wrong ignition timing, etc. Listen for odd sounds during driving and while idling, that will tell you a lot more than general sluggishness.

Its only a 4 cylinder engine, so it will be sluggish.

one thing that might cause it is the car just being too old , so u probably have to get a new car.
