I have also heard about getting a crate??I have no clue where to find this ....Thanks to all...

Contact a shipping agent; they'll do all the work necessary, including Customs clearance, crating, loading and arranging for unloading the car in Mexico. I'd not bother taking my car to Mexico unless I was planning on relocating permanently as the fuel in Mexico may not be up to the standards required for the vehicle to operate.

You can't use a crate unless you're talking about a motorcycle. You can, however, use a shipping crate to move your car. http://www.a1autotransport.com/ship-car-to-cancun.php You may want to consider that if you're moving some furniture and other things along with the car since you can pack other things in the container. The other option is called "RORO" or roll on, roll off shipping. Your car is basically driven onto a ship, secured & delivered and then driven off. Hope this helps.

If you dont drive it there you might not ever get it back!!!!!!! What kind of vehical is it. Other wise Id send it on a ship Plane. Depending on how auick you wont it there.....
