They are having a good offseason. Better than my Bears (although the Browns are my other favorite team). If they pick up Adrian Peterson in the first round, theyd be good at running back. If, by some suprise, the Raiders dont take JaMarcus Russel, and the Lions dont go for him, then I think the Browns should pick him up, but dont count on that happening. They have good receivers in Braylon Edwards and Kellen Winslow and Joe Jurevicious, but I dont know how dependable Charlie Frye could be. I definitley wouldnt go for Brady Quinn because he is horrible against good teams, he hasnt proven himself at all, and he isnt good under pressure. Maybe in the second round they should strengthen the Defensive line or pick up a some O Lineman. I may sound crazy, but in the 3rd round, they should go with Troy Smith. Now he could either be a big bust, or he could be the next Tom Brady. You know he could compensate for that less than stellar O Line, because hes so mobile, and he can throw the ball 73 yards, which is good. You know he plays good under pressure, and is a humble, level headed player. He is a leader and a great athlete, but like I said earlier, hed be a gamble in the NFL becuase hes only 6 feet tall. Overall, I think the Browns are definitley going to be better next season.
Im predicting either 8-8 or 9-7, possible wild card spot if they finish 9-7.

Getting Steinbach was a great move - lets hope he lasts longer then Bentley did. I'll admit I don't know much about the LB from Houston and the DB that the team signed, but adding help on the defense can't ever hurt. Lewis is a questionmark - how much does he have left in his tank?
I'm sticking with my hope that the team trades down and picks up some extra draft choices. Not expecting that though, in which case I would want Joe Thomas with the first round pick over Quinn or Peterson.
For the rest of the draft? Go with the old standby - "Best Available Player". The team just has too many holes at this point in time.

Robert Quinn, DE/UNC. a lot of people will say Julio Jones. now no longer too many elite DE in this years draft. particular, there are limitless strong ones yet they are going to be lengthy gone in the previous the Browns 2d round %. by way of very actuality lots of communities opt for for DE's, it extremely is composed of Cleveland. If Cleveland needs a WR, they could pass with Jonathan 1st earl baldwin of bewdley from Pitt, Torrey Smith from Maryland, or Randall Cobb from Kentucky.

They're going to get either Brady Quinn, Adrian Peterson, or Joe Thomas, if he falls to number three. I'd take Quinn in an instant, because Charlie Frye is not a QB to win with. Good defense, good coach, good special teams, you just need some offensive line and an upgrade at QB.
