YES everyone has a degree of racism based on their personal experiences. I am racist in my personal life but I do my job professionally and without racism. At least I am honest.

Well, tough question. Racism has no clear definition any more (even if you look it up in the dictionary, different people have different uses for the word). Do you define racism only as a black man being beaten because the police assume he's a thug? Or do you perceive even positive stereotypes such as "black guys have great rhythm" or "white guys tend to have good jobs" as racism as well? The sad fact is that the word "racism" has such a horrific stigma attached to it, when it is not at all clearly defined. In that respect, we are all guilty of some form of racism on a daily basis. We ALL recognize the subtle differences and nuances in our races. If you say you don't, you're lying. So in answer to your question, is everyone a bigot? No. Is everyone different? Yes.

And I don't know what the word for you is yet. It's some mixture of frustrated, hateful, and a little lack of intelligence as well from the looks of your writing. How about "fratefulidity".

I think true racists are almost non-existent. The term "racist" is severely misused, mis-applied and abused today, by those who are pushing a certain political agenda.
When people make observations about any racial or ethnic group, based on their own observations and the observations of others, and thus conclude that certain traits/conduct are common to the observed group, that is not racism.
For instance: Blacks are associated with crime and drug use. FBI statistics prove that the number of violent crimes commited by blacks is "off the charts" compared to other groups. Does it make one a racist to merely acknowledge this truth? (If you say that it does, I would ask you to take a walk on any street in Harlem or through a housing project or any mostly black neighborhood...alone)
Of course, a normal person realizes that the observed stereotypical behavior of a group doesn't apply to all the members of that group- Just as I can say that most italians are Catholics- yet I am Italian, but I am not Catholic. I would not take offense if someone assumed that I were Catholic because i'm Italian, since that trait is so common to Italians.
Now there are a few kooks who truly do believe that certain races/ethnic groups are inherently morally or physically inferior...but such people are RARE! (In my entire 44 years, I've only personally met 2 such people- and they were moronic)
I noticed an interesting thing: Back in my native New York, when West Indian blacks would emmigrate to the city, they would often avoid the neighborhoods that were heavily populated with American blacks- as they observed them to be full of crime and drugs. If a white person did this, he would be labelled a "racist", but obviously one can't say that a black is racist for avoiding other members of his own race.
People should open their eyes and examine their views on this topic. When people are afraid of facts...pure hard facts, and won't even allude to facts for fear of being labelled "politically incorrect", it constitutes solid evidence that what they think is wrong, and that they are bolstering various lies just in order to maintain credibility in the eyes of others who accept/promulgate those same lies that can not stand the scrutiny of reality.

I do for the simple fact that if it was not taught to you as a child by your parents than usually later on in life you tend to make your own judgments and decide what works for you, like me for instance I hate it when in general people think that they are better then some people, when it's the things that you do that make you a better person, what I mean is like if you have a lot of money when you get older or if everything is handed to you on a silver platter than you tend to put other people you do not have the things that you do down, it's not fair but people try to justify it by giving to a Charity or something I say it like this get over it and just be yourself you are who you are and everyone in this world will have their differences no matter what so we should just except the person we do not have to except some of the things that they do but we should at least learn to look past it sometimes

Completely correct. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE is racist, predujice or bigoted in some way shape or form. For all those posting to this question saying different, you're all in complete self-denial or completely ignorant. What you say about the gangsta, the stereotypical types of a race, I don't like either. These people seem to present the worse of a culture rather than it's better.

What you don't like are certain cultural upbringings that certain groups practice. It does'nt make you a racist. You're just annoyed by certain fads and practices in the modern generation. This is nothing new.
Back in the 1920's, people were shocked by the newer generations choice of music, and style of clothing. Same goes with the other decades that followed. There will always be people who complain about the newer styles, walks, music, and language of the newer generation. I guess it's part of being human. We're comfortable with our way of doing things that work for us, yet when we see someone else doing things different, it bothers us. People generally don't like change.

and to quote "I dont like black people who act all gangsta"..not every black person acts gangsta, just like not every latino waves a mexcian flag and shits on the american flag. Not liking someone for their ideals is acceptable, especially since not everyone *within one particular race* shares the same ideals. How many mexicans act gangsta do you like? It could be generalized to say "I dont like people who act "gangsta"" and that is NOT racist, that's just saying "I dont like this kind of person" what is racist/biggot is to say "I just dont like " regardless fo the reason..

would saying "I hate caucasians" b/c there are rednecks that really spoil it for us make you a racist ? so how does that differ to the other races.

Besides, we are all individual, you are not meant to like every single person you meet, it does not mean you are racist, it just means you have an opinion, and not everyone can be/will be your friend etc..

So I DO believe that there are non-racist people out there..they are called down to earth, could care less about politics/political boundaries and care more about helping to save the earth and the environment then the skin color of an individual.. you know..Hippies :D

Yes we all are racists to some extent , for the simple reason that we all have lost the INNOCENCE , the availability of information will make us judge even in silence ,one way or another , we can not be blindly biased it is not possible under our current information technology , perhaps if we could live in a desolated society with out external influences , we could be free of racism because we would be Innocent .

No one is born racist. Have you ever seen a Caucasian child and African child play in a daycare? They see no color unless instructed to.

What you are picking out is the cultural differences that are typically associated with certain groups of people. These are social constructs, meaning they can be changed.

Black people were NOT gangsters in the beginning of humanity. This was a culture that was CREATED.

No one ever told you that you had to like every race or everyone. There will certainly be races that people favor over others of course. The diffrence is how you treat those people. Thats what makes you a racist. We are suppose to treat people equally not like them equally.
