yes. If she ovulated late in her cycle she wouldn't get a positive til at least 12 days or later after conception so if she was due for her period March 3rd but ovulated as late as Feb 26th, she would *think* she should test March 4th but it wouldn't show positive til around March 9th.

usually if a woman is less than a month, the only test that will prove she is pregnant is a blood test. EPT and over the counter test won't show she's pregnant usually until she's a month along. If you need to kn ow ASAP.. get a blood test. A negative before a month isn't just common, it's normal if ur using an EPT from the store.

Yes, it's very common. A lot of tests say that they are accurate several days before your missed period, but in my experience, they are not very accurate until a week after your missed period. If you're worried, make an appointment with a doctor. The doctor can do a blood test which will show the exact level of pregnancy hormone in your blood. Make sure the appointment is after your missed period, though.

Yes, it is very possible. If you are "barely" pregnant. Your pregnancy hormones have not increased enough yet to test positive. Blood test are more accurate. So you could always go to the doctor. If not, wait a few more weeks and test again.

Doctors calculate pregnancy from the last period. Women ovulate about 14 days into their cycle, and have a period a couple weeks later.

Which means that when you get pregnant you're already medically two weeks along. By the time you're late for your period you're four weeks pregnant, or one month.

The vast majority of pregnancy tests will not work for the vast majority of women before their periods are due. Blood work can usually detect pregnancy the week before you're due.

That said, MOST women get negative pregnancy tests before theyre 1 month pregnant, simply because their own bodies arent acting pregnancy yet. Theyre just not pregnant enough.

If you mean before her next period is due the odds are pretty good that it will show a false negative, depending on the sensititivity of the test.
