My emails that i receive have no data on them. it is only on my work computer though. i can receive them at home and other computers in the building, but when i try to open the same email that had data on the other computers, there is nothing on my work computer. does anyone know if i would have hit a button or something so that i can't read my emails on this computer?

Talk to your company's tech support staff. It sounds like their Email scanning software or AV is set too aggressively.
