Trust me you DO NOT want a dell. here is a price comparison First lets see how Much the Dell/Hell will cost which is around $500 But it does not meet game requirements it does not have anywhere near enough RAM for what you will be using it for you need 2GB but the Dell/Hell only has a whimpy 256MB so well have to buy some more RAM ($200) so we are now up to $700, oh well need antivirus($100) no we are up to $800, you might need a better graphics card because there is only 28MB of VRAM you want 128MB ad least so another $200 so now we have gone up to $1000, your Dell/hell will more than likely break down to where you don't know how to fix it (no offence) so that would probably cost $120-$400 so lets say it cost you around $250 so the Dell/hell is $1250 you most likely will want a DVD burner or superdrive because a Dell/Hell only has a CD burner so that will probably cost from $150-$370 so lets say you wanted the Superdrive add $370 and now the Dell/Hell is $1720 and now lets say you wanted to upgrade to windows vista so now add $230 and it cost $1950 and because of vista you need a more powerful CPU from pentium 4 to core 2 duo will add $287 total all that and you probably want an LCD display $300, and you dell cost $2637!Mac cost $1500 but you need an extra gig of RAM So the iMac cost $1600 don't need virus protection $0, already has a 128MB graphics card 0$, you might get have a problem but a trip to the apple store fixes that for free if warrenty covers the iMac if not add $50, Intel core 2 duo CPU already has it $0, tower nonxistant, upgrade in software $80, wont need a new hard drive iMac has 200GB, DVD burner included in the built in SUPERDRIVE $0, camera uhh thats built in!! $0, LCD display built in, and our total is $1730 compare that with $2637. Good Luck on buying your new computer and a hope you make the right choice "cough Mac".
