i cant get on line what can i do it wont let me uninstall it .to let windows find it to install it.

If you have the Driver Installation CD-ROM that came with the Emachine PC than you can look for the Ethernet Drivers in that CD.
If it is not possible to do the above, then, using another computer go to the Website of Emachines. Search for the Drivers for your computer. Look for the Drivers for the the specific Ethernet Card within you computer. Download them onto a USB Jump Drive or something similar.
Now have Windows search for the Ethernet Card installed in your computer. When the Windows Hardware Installation Wizard asks for the Driver for the Ethernet card point them to the Ethernet Drivers in the jump drive that you should have connected to your Computer via USB.
This will install the Ethernet Drivers and you should be OK to get on-line provided you have some sort of Broadband Access Account / Provider.

Can you please put on the type of card and computer and operating system? You might have a bad card (rare but possible).
